rod: I bought the red trays from Ikea. You should be able to find them online if you don't live near one. Also another thought: use small tupperware containers, or the bottom of small juice box cartons or mini muffin tins... good luck!

HELP! Where can I purchase the large, red ice cube tray in the photo? I'm desperate to find one that makes large cubes.

Thanks!

Kate: I haven't tried that! I love finding new uses for ice cube trays (okay, maybe the freezer in general). Thanks for the tip!

Jennifer: Yummy, I have frozen broth I have made (in big ziploc bags) but not leftovers in ice cube portions: lovely!

Csara: I tried that once years ago, and had forgotten! Thanks for the reminder!

Peabody: And, what is your favorite thing to pop them into?

One of my favorite things to do with ice cube trays is to freeze my left over coffee so that when I make iced coffee, I throw in the coffee cubes instead of regular ice so it doesn't get watered down!
